You won’t want to miss this FREE 2 Day Event in the Beautiful Austin, TX. This is The Pecan Street Festival held twice a year, it is considered one of the largest and longest running arts, crafts and music festivals in the nation. The Pecan Street festival is held by The Pecan Street Association, a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization. The association donates its proceeds towards the preservation of historic 6th Street located in Downtown Austin.
- When: September 23th. thru 24th.
- Where: 6th Street Between Brazos and IH-35
- Time: September 24th. 11am – 10pm and September 25th. 11am – 8pm
This FREE 2 Day Arts & Crafts festival, held in downtown Austin’s Sixth Street Historic District, is held on the first Saturday & Sunday in May and the last Saturday & Sunday in September.
This festival attracts hundreds of local and national artisans offering original handcrafted creations in a variety of mediums, from metal, wood, fiber, clay, leather, glass and stone to re-purposed materials of all kinds. The fun won’t be limited to Arts & Crafts, there will also be music and food to enjoy. You will be able to take a stroll down 6th Street and enjoy downtown Austin, while at the same time enjoying amazing and beautiful Arts & Crafts.
